Dr. Bouton develops forage and bioenergy cultivars for Southern USA. He has commercialized 17 cultivars throughout his career, but is best known for the release of ‘Alfagraze’ alfalfa, “MaxQ” tall fescue, ‘Durana’ and ‘Patriot’ white clovers, and EG1101 and EG1102 switchgrasses.
