Research area: Development of grain cultivars and germplasm having superior productivity and quality

Bio

Dr. Johnson is currently a Professor Emeritus at the University of Georgia and has been leading the successful small grain breeding program and educating graduate students at UGA since 1977. He graduated from Purdue University with a M.S and a PhD.in Plant Breeding and Genetics and earned a B.S.A. degree from the University of Georgia and an A.S. degree from Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College.
